Wedding at ARD Events Toronto

Neil & Jill

Neil and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water. Jill came down wearing her elegant white gown as Neil gives her forever. We all love our nursery rhymes when we were still little children and there are simply some love stories that remind us of the great times we have as kids. This is one of them.

Even with the play of words we cannot help but describe the sheer classic romance of this couple’s wedding as absolute bliss. It was in middle of August when Neil and Jill celebrated their first day of the rest of their lives. That fine day in Toronto was a testament of their romance and something we are both privileged and honored to have witnessed and photographed.

From the moment we took photos during the pre-event preps until the cocktailish dinner reception, we were just up and about enjoying ourselves. Weddings are usually tiresome for photographers, but that day was truly relaxing for us. Perhaps it was the calm atmosphere or the dazzling glow in the faces of the couple. We would like to believe it’s both.

Andrew Richard Design Events near Distillery District was just the perfect venue for these two love birds to get married. It was posh, it was contemporary, and it was simply sophisticated. Neil and Jill could not have picked a classier place to have their wedding. The lofty space with a connecting roof top patio was purely impeccable while giving us enough room to be creative. Anyone could just stare white with envy with the brilliant minimalist design and really nice ambient light coming from the windows; and we’re just talking about the couple’s choice of design color. Truly, classic white still rocks and looks gorgeous and elegant in pictures.

Having the rites and reception all in one place gave us ample time to sneak Neil and Jill out right after the ceremony even as their guests were still swayed by the beautiful wedding. We took the two down to Adelaide street where everything was perfectly cooperating. The weather was great, the road was empty, and the sun was just about to set. The street became a great backdrop to this sweet and sophisticated couple. Textures were amazingly abundant, colors were absolutely gorgeous, and these two souls just stood out in the images. We were happy.

The dinner party was just as stylish. The setup allowed conversation to flow as it wasn’t the usual sit-down dining experience we usually see. The cocktail dinner party style allowed us to take more images of smiles, cheer, and celebration from both the couple and their guests. We were also thrilled to know that The Tempered Chef was catering which meant great food and an exquisite dining experience. He never fails to surprise us.

Of course, we don’t want to share how inspiring Neil and Jill’s wedding was without photos to match. Just allow these pictures to capture and inspire your creativity as it did ours. Enjoy!
