The wedding of Elizabeth and Mark was definitely one of the most adorable ceremonies of the month. Everybody had fun and at the same time had an unforgettable experience that they will surely cherish and treasure in their lifetimes. The celebration was full of emotions – people shedding tears of joy because of the blissful moment, guests laughing and having a great time, bridesmaids getting nervous as they walk down the aisle and other mixed emotions that nobody can put into words. The nuptials of Elizabeth and Mark at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club (RCYC) was simple but very meaningful. The couple opted for a modest ceremony but truly expressed their love for each other as they said their unbreakable “I do’s”.
Elizabeth and her girls got ready at the luxurious and posh Ritz Carlton Hotel in Downtown Toronto. They wore colorful, matching, floral robes while having their hairs and makeups done which made them look totally charming and cute. Elizabeth received a surprise gift from the love of her life and was extremely happy when she opened her present. Mark got Elizabeth a chic handbag from Louis Vuitton which she absolutely loved. Elizabeth was all smiles and got more enthusiastic as she prepared for her most important day. While the girls were having fun getting ready, Mark and the boys were busy and excited preparing while having a mini-celebration of their own at the residence of Mark’s parents. The guys had a shot of alcohol to calm down their nerves as the most-awaited ceremony approaches.
Elizabeth looked very gorgeous in her bridal dress donned with floral embroideries which made the gown look very classy and elegant. The dress was a heart-shaped tube which gently cascaded to the floor. The back of the gown bore the traditional zigzagged ribbon which looked very graceful and pretty. Her hair was set in a beautiful bun and she wore a simple eye makeup but painted her lips red to finish her appealing look. Elizabeth’s bridesmaids were dressed in light pink gowns which made them look like goddesses under the sun.
Mark wore a simple suit in a dark shade of blue and matched his outfit with blue socks and black shoes. His gang looked adorable in their black coats, suspenders and bowties and were clearly having fun and were excited for the upcoming tying of the knot of their lucky friend.
From the Ritz Carlton Hotel, the girls went to the Cherry Street and took a private club boat to the venue at Toronto Island (RCYC). The boys also took the private club boat and arrived at the Island a little later and had a quick bite downstairs before the celebration started.
The celebration had a perfect location which delectably overlooked the downtown, yet the guests got the feeling that they were far away from the noise of the city. The venue of the wedding celebration was outdoors which has a great view of the beautiful Ontario Lake. There were lots of trees to shade the bride, the groom and all the guests and they got to enjoy not just the ceremony but also the beauty of nature. The weather was good, the sun was shining and the breeze of the wind was steady – a perfect day for the perfect couple. The view of the whole city was very romantic and nice which spiced up the wedding celebration.
The scene at the venue’s veranda was quite emotional and dreamy. A lot of people were crying especially the families and the close friends of both couples. This kind of ceremony is just once in a lifetime so the relatives were cherishing the momentous event.
After the much awaited ceremony, they all proceeded to the reception venue which was very simple and laidback. The tables were white as snow while the chairs were blue. The reception area was very homey and very inviting with a theme of cute sailboats. Elizabeth and Mark also had a cute idea of putting up a basket which held dancing shoes for those who want to party and dance the night away.
Everybody had a great time especially the two lovebirds who will be starting their new lives together as husband and wife. The wedding ceremony was perfect but nothing’s more perfect than the two hearts that have been joined as one.
