Wedding
Inspired by the romantic French elements from the Paris-based novel “Bel Ami”, this wedding setting looked like a grand celebration in itself. Rich and subtle details undeniably adorned the scenery, from the exquisite color motif to the venue, and from the towering cakes to the wonderfully arranged flowers. Modern and rustic elements which are perfectly brought together can make a simple ceremony into a marvelous event for everyone to remember.
The model’s hair was done in a minimalist yet elegant manner, with gentle waves of hair forming into a classic French twist. Her make-up was light, with neutral tones and nude pink lipstick evoking a more natural look. The gown by Valencienne is very elegant with soft floral details and beadwork and features a delicate shoulder jewelry. It looked perfect and flattering. The beautiful neckpiece and couture earrings by Elsa Corsi beautifully complimented her gown. She carried a beautiful bouquet of roses and tulips in warm pastel colors, softly contrasting the cool hues of blue in the venue.
Her dashing partner wore a tailor-made suit by Garrison Bespoke. The blue suit has ornate floral patterns, complementing the lady’s simple white gown. He wore plain white long sleeves inside his suit and a stylish blue velvet tie. His hair was styled in a handsome quiff and the whole ensemble made him a look like a stunning groom for an equally stunning bride.
The venue, a historic landmark in Toronto, has a distinct charm and romantic character. The George Brown house has a generous 9,000 square feet of space, giving guests enough room for cocktails and conversations. Invites, menus, and small paper pieces have cool and soft blues accented with gold. Rustic flower arrangements adorned polished vases and scattered in the right places all over the venue. The flowers were tastefully arranged and provided by Oui Design Co. The elegant glassware by Plate Occasions and flatware by Happily Ever After Events Inc. highlighted the small yet intricate details of the French-inspired wedding setting. Other elements in the wedding venue included an opulent cake trio by Baked and Beloved. The blue cake was ornate with white floral patterns and gold accents. Alongside it were two white cakes – albeit smaller in size, were still at par with the elegance of the towering blue cake. Other beautiful pieces in the set were gilded vases and eggs, and a champagne tower.
A total dining experience was topped off with a hearty repertoire of food. Guests for sure will have an amazing time savoring the meals prepared by Daniel et Daniel Event Creation and Catering.
Personalized Prosecco in small bottles looked simply charming and the sweet delicacies by Dolled Up Cupcakes were delectable. The cake pops and cupcakes were simply arranged on a gilded bar cart, alongside a few refreshments.
