They say that weddings are created especially for brides. They are the star of the day, their desires should be met to the detail, and the theme of the whole wedding must be their idea of beautiful. With that, this Eclectic Chic wedding shoot undoubtedly achieved that goal.

Having a styled shoot with such a unique theme truly brought a breath of fresh air in the styling scene. Filled with an abundance of greens and luscious natural elements, describing it as a mere garden-themed wedding would be a complete understatement.

Set and shot at the Heintzman House — one of the most popular wedding destinations in Ontario, Canada; the team all worked together to create a one-of-a-kind set that was also featured in Wedluxe Toronto! The venue, also known as Sunnyside Manor Farm, is one of the oldest buildings in Thornhill-Markham, and made a perfect location to roll out this dream-like beauty shoot.

The Heintzman house was carefully designed in such a way that made us feel like we were in paradise. It was as if we were suddenly transported to a hidden Mediterranean garden that was filled with a diverse selection of plants, flowers with the biggest blooms, and beautiful elements with a saturated yet natural palette. However, what’s really interesting is that even if the place looks grandiose, it still encouraged a very relaxed atmosphere because of its intimate set-up.

With the reverie of the place, another unique trait of the styling was the use of art in its concept. The carpet, the tiles, and even the wedding gown of the bride for her first look contained patterns that were all are reminiscent of the art noveau movement in the 1890s. These are characterized by the use of a long, sinuous, organic lines that drew inspiration from organic and geometric forms. To add to that, the very minimal and controlled touches of gold here and there created a feeling of luxury in the environment.

The bride, with her expressive eyes, blended well with her surroundings — making her the queen of the set. The details of her wedding gown like leaves hugging her body, she was in harmony with the whole place. With her simple yet glowing make up, she looked even more golden and regal. This was flawlessly executed by the Jen Evoy Makeup Studio. The floral design, crafted by Flowers Time, is one of the main elements that added to the beauty of the theme.

As briefly stated above, we love the bride’s dreamy wedding gown designs by Galia Lahav that truly brought out the inner goddess in her! Of course, let us not forget that the marvelous stage design and structure where the ceremony will take place, designed by Engineered Arts. This wedding area had grand yet classic curtains and drapings, completing the whole look of luxury.

The designs of everyone who took part in this wedding shoot blended well together and created a really stunning set. It was a pleasure working with all of these talented people. It was a garden paradise, and the bride was patiently waiting for her groom.

This theme is a classic one that only gets better with time.
