The venue itself was a dream-like setting, perfect for a romantic wedding, and the warm tones, gold aesthetics, and soft lighting only added to the magic of the day. Natasia and Peter first met in 3rd year University. They both worked at the same campus bar together. They were friends at first, and things naturally blossomed into a beautiful relationship. From the moment they were both fully-dressed, they were both nervous, mixed with loads of excitement for the day ahead of them. One of our favourite moments was when Natassia and Peter had their first look in the Galleria Italia. It was clear that they shared an incredible love. This love extended beyond just them as their family and friends watched with such excitement as Natassia walked up behind Peter. When he turned around, time seemed to stand still and their love filled the entire space. Everyone had the biggest smiles on their faces, and we knew this was the start of a day that would be truly special.
The light-filled Walker Court was a stunning ceremony space, filled with a beautiful floral palette of greens, pinks, and whites by florist Jackie O. The grand ceiling with the iconic spiral staircase served as a stunning backdrop. We loved learning about the personal touches Natassia made for her special day. When Natassia walked down the aisle to Elvis’ “Can’t help falling in love,” it was special to her because it was music she would sing along with her dad growing up. It became clear to us that this was the perfect song for Natassia and Peter, with such special meaning behind it.
But it was the reception that truly stole the show. The tables are draped in creamy linens and adorned with elegant centrepieces of delicate flowers in shades of blush pink, creamy white, and green accents. The hanging lights from the grande ceiling made it look like Natassia and Peter were dancing under a sky of stars during their first dance. And with the room full of candles, the atmosphere was both romantic and enchanting. The warm tones and gold aesthetics elevated the elegant setting. Working with their planner, Ashley Lindzon, they wanted to create a space that elevated the already breathtaking architecture.
But it wasn’t just the decor that made the reception so special. It was the love and support that surrounded Natassia and Peter on their big day. Seeing their family and friends, hearing the speeches, and feeling the love and happiness that filled the room was truly overwhelming, and we were incredibly lucky to have captured every moment. We are so happy to have been a part of Natassia and Peter’s special day at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Their love was truly unforgettable and it was so special to be a part of the beginning of their new journey together. We feel the love in every moment captured, and are so happy to share it with you. From the very beginning during their getting ready, to the beautiful bride and groom photos in every corner of the gallery where we shared laughs and intimate moments with them, and when the evening settled with a live band and the dance floor opened … we left the gallery feeling inspired and uplifted, grateful to have been a part of such a beautiful celebration of love.
