This Elora Mill Wedding Broke Us in the Best Way Possible
Elora Mill
Rebecca & Brian

Some weddings stay with you long after the last frame is captured. Rebecca and Brian’s wedding at the breathtaking Elora Mill was one of those days, a perfect collision of romance, joy, and the kind of effortless elegance that simply cannot be manufactured. From the moment we arrived at this iconic Ontario venue, we knew we were about to witness something truly special.

Set against the stunning limestone walls of Elora Mill, surrounded by lush spring florals and filled with an energy that only comes from two people who are genuinely, completely meant for each other. This was a wedding day that reminded us exactly why we love what we do

Rebecca’s getting ready moments were the kind of quiet magic that sets the tone for an entire day. The girls gathered in their matching pink satin pyjamas, filling the room with laughter and love, a scene that perfectly captured the warmth of the relationships that surrounded this bride.

The Elora Mill’s heritage suites provided the most stunning natural light, and Rebecca, luminous in her bridal lingerie with her gorgeous lace robe, was absolutely breathtaking. A particularly sweet moment was with Rebecca and her little flower girl admiring the dress and shoes together, two dresses hanging side by side, one for the bride and one for her mini me. Pure perfection.

Photography Tip: Getting Ready Photos

  • Book a suite with large windows & natural light is everything for getting ready shots.
  • Give your photographer at least 90 minutes for bridal prep, rushing this section means missing the moments that matter most.
  • Keep the room tidy before your photographer arrives because a clean space makes for editorial, magazine-worthy images.
  • Have your details ready in one place: dress, shoes, jewellery, perfume, invitation. Your photographer will create a beautiful flatlay with them.

The ceremony took place in the iconic Elora Mill Foundry, an awe-inspiring space that blends raw, historic architecture with intimate warmth. Officiated by Martti Pajunen, the ceremony was filled with genuine emotion and we were there for every single tear.

And then there was the smallest, most dapper guest of the day, Rebecca and Brian’s French Bulldog, dressed in a tiny tuxedo and bow tie, standing proudly at the altar. An absolute show-stopper and easily the most talked-about moment of the ceremony.

Photography Tip: How to include your pet

  • If you want to include your pet, assign a trusted person to manage them — it allows for natural, beautiful moments without the stress.

Rebecca’s bridal party wore the most beautiful soft sage/mint gowns, a colour that complemented the natural limestone of the mill and the lush spring florals by Wildwood Floral + Design perfectly. The bridal party portraits in front of the organic floral arch are among some of our favourite images from the entire year, full of joy, laughter and genuine friendship. The entire wedding party together, walking confidently away from that stunning floral arch, was nothing short of cinematic.

The reception was held in the breathtaking Granary at Elora Mill, a space that effortlessly blends rustic heritage beams with romantic elegance. The tablescape by Wildwood Florals was an absolute dream with lush pink and white roses, ranunculus, and snapdragons cascading down long white tables, flanked by crystal glassware and taper candles that cast the most golden evening light.

Entertainment was handled by Boutique Entertainment and the dance floor was absolutely electric from start to finish. Now the champagne tower moment, Rebecca and Brian pouring Veuve Clicquot together against the iconic stone walls was simply pure joy!

The first dance was one of those moments we never tire of capturing. Brian’s smile as he held Rebecca on that dance floor, surrounded by their children twirling alongside them. It was the most complete picture of a family beginning their next chapter together.

Rebecca and Brian, thank you for trusting us with your wedding day. We are so honoured to have been there for all of it. Your love for each other and for your family radiates in every single image, and we hope these photographs bring you joy for a lifetime.
