From popping champagne with her nearest and dearest to the quiet anticipation before walking down the aisle, everything felt intentional and refined.
Her chiffon robe was one of the most unique pieces we’ve seen, it flowed beautifully and photographed like a dream in her suite. Every detail reflected Julia’s elegant style, making for timeless bridal wedding photography that felt both editorial and heartfelt.
Andrew’s morning was deeply emotional and incredibly meaningful. The memory of his father was beautifully present throughout his getting ready, felt not just by Andrew but by everyone in the room. His brothers, his mom, and Julia’s father all stepped in to help him prepare. It was an incredibly powerful reminder of the love surrounding this groom on his wedding day.
One of the most sentimental details was Andrew’s watch, passed down to him by his father and full of history. We made sure to highlight this heirloom in a stunning way, honouring its significance through thoughtful photography. With his best friends by his side, Andrew truly had the best crew supporting him all day long.
Just before their first look at Casa Loma, we shared one of our new favourite traditions, asking the groom what he thinks his bride will look like. Andrew’s answer was surprisingly close and brought such a sense of calm and excitement before the big reveal. It’s moments like these that ease nerves and create authentic emotion we love to capture.
Casa Loma’s bridal suite offered the most breathtaking backdrop for portraits with it’s old-world charm, classic romance, and rich architectural details. And the staircase? Always worth pausing for. Capturing the bride and groom descending together is nothing short of magical.
For portraits, we mean… it’s a castle. Of course it’s stunning. Julia and Andrew were completely wrapped up in one another, making our job incredibly easy. Every time Andrew looked at Julia, he absolutely melted and those genuine moments are what make timeless wedding photography.
Their bridal party brought the champagne-coloured theme to life beautifully, paired with soft ivory florals that felt elegant and sophisticated. With a large bridal party, finding the perfect location can be a challenge, but the front of Casa Loma provided a wonderfully shaded space that worked perfectly for everyone.
Their ceremony was nothing short of breathtaking. Ivory florals surrounded the altar, with the fountain creating a dreamy backdrop. As if perfectly planned, the sun became a main character, shining down at just the right angle during the ceremony.
Emotions ran high, but in the most beautiful way. Tears, smiles, and heartfelt vows filled the space, making this one of those ceremonies you feel just as much as you witness.
Cocktail hour took place in the Casa Loma gardens—and honestly, does it get better than that? Laughter, incredible food, glowing smiles, and so much love filled the air.
Inside, the reception space was overflowing with florals, candles, and chandeliers. Every creative touch reflected how much care Julia & Andrew and their planner put into their wedding day. And just when we thought the day couldn’t get more emotional, the speeches began. No amount of preparation could have readied us for the love shared during those moments. It was powerful, heartfelt, and unforgettable. Yes, we even shed a tear ourselves!
