The next morning unfolded slowly and calmly inside the lodge, surrounded by rich wood textures, minimal interiors, and panoramic mountain views. Lindsay spent the morning in a silk pajama set trimmed with feather details and matching white slippers, creating a look that was both playful and luxurious. Some of the sweetest moments from the morning came while Lindsay spent time with their golden retriever, who wandered through the suite as everyone got ready for the day ahead. These candid moments added such a personal and relaxed energy to the gallery.
As the morning continued, the bridal party gathered in the living room, lounging together on the couch while opening Chanel gift bags and sharing champagne. Lindsay later stepped into her Vivienne Westwood gown, and the look came together flawlessly. The structured corset bodice, off-the-shoulder neckline, and flowing silhouette created something that felt simultaneously modern and timeless. Styled with delicate jewelry and a soft half-up hairstyle, every detail felt intentionally understated in a way that allowed the bride’s beauty to speak for itself.
One of the most emotional moments of the morning came as Lindsay’s mother, dressed in a striking black gown, helped her into the dress. The contrast between black and white created such visually powerful imagery while also emphasizing the closeness between them.
Meanwhile, Hamza’s morning carried a sleek and relaxed energy of its own. Getting ready in a suite overlooking the mountains, he wore a classic tuxedo and bow tie from Suit Supply that fit perfectly within the modern minimalistic aesthetic of the day. We also incorporated a number of black and white portraits throughout his getting-ready coverage, creating a cinematic contrast against the crisp architecture and dramatic mountain backdrop surrounding the lodge. Some of our favourite images from the morning captured Hamza standing on the balcony overlooking the property, framed by the sharp lines of the modern exterior and the natural beauty in the surroundings.
Before the ceremony, Hamza and his groomsmen stepped outdoors for portraits against the mountains before turning the session into an casual pickleball match while still fully dressed in tuxedos. It added such a fun, unexpected energy to the day while still maintaining the elevated aesthetic they envisioned.
The couple’s first look took place outdoors beneath clear skies surrounded by rocks, trees, and endless greenery. Framed by the vast landscape around them, the moment felt incredibly intimate despite the scale of the scenery. Using lots of negative space, we focused on the stillness between them, allowing the environment to enhance the emotion rather than distract from it.
Portraits followed throughout the property, embracing the cool tones and moody atmosphere that defined the weekend visually. Lindsay looked stunning holding her white bouquet against the greens, browns, blacks, and soft whites surrounding them. Together, they moved effortlessly between editorial-inspired poses and genuine candid moments, creating imagery that felt both artistic and deeply emotional.
The ceremony itself took place inside the lodge surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing the mountains and forests outside to remain fully present throughout the experience. The setting felt intimate and emotional, with family and friends gathered closely around the couple as the ceremony unfolded.
As the ceremony came to an end, the sun slowly began to set over the mountains, giving us one final stretch of soft natural light for portraits. We spent this time outdoors near the patio and pool area, where Lindsay & Hamza sat together beside a stone fire-pit with cinematic mountain views stretching into the distance behind them.
Before guests entered the reception space, we captured the room in its full candlelit glow. Long black tables lined the room beneath crystal chandeliers, while white chairs, endless candles, and expansive windows overlooking the mountains created a setting that felt both luxurious and intimate.
Inside, guests gathered around the fireplace as Lindsay & Hamza addressed the room surrounded by candlelight and the glow of chandeliers overhead. Emotional speeches, laughter, and heartfelt reactions filled the space before the couple shared their first dance together accompanied by a live band.
As the night continued, Lindsay changed into a shorter reception dress detailed with silk and feather accents that brought a playful glamour to the dance floor. The energy shifted into a full celebration as guests filled the room dancing late into the evening.
Using direct flash photography throughout the party allowed us to capture the night in a way that felt vibrant, stylish, and alive. Preserving not only how everything looked, but the feeling of being there alongside them.
Lindsay & Hamza’s wedding weekend at Wedge Mountain Lodge & Spa was the perfect reflection of their relationship and the place that means so much to them. Thoughtfully designed yet deeply personal, every part of the celebration blended style, emotion, and the natural beauty of Whistler in a way that felt completely unforgettable.
Some weddings leave an impression long after the weekend ends, and this was undeniably one of them.
