Dulangi & Eric

As Toronto wedding photographers, we have the honour of documenting so many beautiful love stories, but Dulangi & Eric’s wedding day was truly something special. Their day was a seamless blend of modern elegance, meaningful tradition, and intentional design—from a luxury hotel morning to a breathtaking sunset reception at Deer Creek Golf Course.

This wedding was a masterclass in timeless romance with a refined blue and ivory palette, cultural celebration, and unforgettable moments. We’re so excited to share their story.

Dulangi began her wedding morning at the iconic Ritz-Carlton Toronto, surrounded by her “best of the best.” The atmosphere was calm, joyful, and full of anticipation, exactly how a wedding morning should feel.

Her wedding details were thoughtfully curated, with her something blue taking centre stage. A delicate blue ribbon added the perfect pop of colour to her soft, editorial flat lay, elevating the entire aesthetic. As a Toronto wedding photographer, we love when couples infuse personal meaning into their details, it always tells a deeper story.

Her wedding dress photos were bold and fashion-forward. Using off-camera flash, we created a dramatic yet elegant look that allowed her gown to truly pop against the darker tones of the Ritz-Carlton walls. The bridesmaids’ blue robes were no accident either, intentional styling that beautifully aligned with Dulangi’s overall wedding theme.

Eric’s getting ready moments were pure class. Dressed in a striking white tux, he looked effortlessly sophisticated. His suite was filled with energy, laughter, and support from his closest friends and family.

The in-home bar made the perfect backdrop for celebratory toasts, and yes, there was even an obligatory game of pool. These moments are exactly why we love documentary-style wedding photography. It’s real, relaxed, and full of personality.

Their ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Parish in Toronto, a church that feels truly grand the moment you step inside. The architecture is rich with history with soaring ceilings, intricate details, and a sense of romantic grandeur that makes it an incredible ceremony location for couples seeking timeless elegance.

The natural light that pours through the church creates a soft, cinematic glow, perfectly illuminating each moment of the ceremony. Dulangi and her bridesmaids once again popped in blue, standing out beautifully against the warm, historic tones of the church.

One of our favourite moments of the entire day was their grand church exit. While it looks effortless in photos, it actually takes careful planning and precise timing as a photographer. When it all comes together, though, the result is pure magic and Dulangi & Eric absolutely nailed it.

Their portrait session at Trinity College felt like stepping into a fairytale, another hidden gem of Toronto we love to use as a backdrop. We also recommend incorporating a prop into your wedding or engagement photos, and Dulangi & Eric’s choice was perfection. Their film camera prop added a sense of creative playfulness making their portraits feel fun and completely unique.

And the sun? It absolutely showed up for them. Golden light flooded the landscape, giving us dreamy, glowing images overlooking Deer Creek’s rolling greens.

Even after the sun began to set, Dulangi changed into a traditional dress, honouring her culture in the most beautiful way. Eric followed suit with a sleek black tux, signalling one thing loud and clear, it was time to party.

These transitions are always some of our favourite moments to photograph, as they represent the shift from ceremony elegance to full celebration.

The reception space at Deer Creek Golf Course was breathtaking. A soft palette of ivory and blue created a romantic, airy atmosphere that felt both luxurious and inviting.

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening happened before the guests even entered, the room reveal. Giving couples a private moment to take in the reception space is incredibly special. It’s the first time they get to see their vision come to life together, uninterrupted.

Cocktail hour was a feast for the senses. The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented, always a win for both guests and photographers. Speaking of the guests, they truly came dressed to impress, adding even more style and energy to the evening.

The entertainment was a powerful highlight of the night, showcasing Dulangi’s culture in a way that was vibrant, joyful, and deeply meaningful. She even performed herself which was a moment filled with personality, pride, and pure fun. These are the authentic experiences we love capturing most as wedding photographers.

And yes, something we don’t see often anymore, the classic bouquet toss! Dulangi & Eric brought this tradition back, and we’re here for it. Fingers crossed we see more of these nostalgic wedding moments making a comeback in 2026.

Dulangi & Eric’s wedding was a perfect blend of luxury, tradition, and heartfelt celebration. From the Ritz-Carlton to St. Mary’s Parish, and finally to Deer Creek Golf Course, every part of their day was intentional, elegant, and full of love.

As Toronto Wedding Photographers, it was an honour to document such a beautiful story. Dulangi & Eric, thank you for trusting us to capture your day, we’ll be reliving this one for a long time.
