Airship 37 Wedding Shoot
White Wedding Creative Shoot
We understand that choosing the colour scheme to your wedding is an important process. After all, it sets the tone of all the details – from your invitations to your centrepieces. As much as we love to see the different ways in which particular colours pop out, we’re here to tell you that you don’t need them! Sticking to neutral palette can get you the same elegant, classic, yet distinct type of celebration. More importantly, when does black and white ever go out of style?
This creative shoot involved the minimal amount of colour, and the little hints of colour you spot elevate the monochrome palette. Airship 37 was the perfect blank canvas for this vision that honours sophisticated simplicity. Whether the focus is on the darker or brighter side of the monochrome spectrum, the space lets the decor speak for itself.
In this shoot, the shyness of the tones lets the texture run deep and the patterns shine. We got to play with geometric shapes and colour transparencies. Just check out the white marble cake by Sweet Regards – both jaw dropping and mouth watering at the same time. With nature there to inspire us, Coyote Flowers came up with a deconstructed floral design to showcase raw materials. One of our favourite things about this shoot is the dress from White Toronto! We love the fishnet pattern that flows from the bodice to the skirt, adding to the look of delicacy and elegance. It worked so well with the soft intricacy of the bouquet.
The makeup artist and producer of the shoot, The Look Bridal, wanted the model to reflect the same minimalistic and organic feel. The simple makeup of our model bride makes her look modest and graceful, all the while showcasing her natural beauty. The spotlight is on her, but not because she draws attention to herself, but because the audience found themselves drawn to her.
By muting the colours, we’re letting the moment fill the silence.
