Classic Affair for NHL Player Zach Hyman
Art Gallery of Ontario Wedding
Alannah + Zach

Bright, minimalist and classic – this wedding was nothing short of showstopping, with the AGO being transformed into a dreamy garden for Alannah and NHL Toronto Maple Leafs player Zach Hyman. With lots of light, high ceilings and incredible architecture, everyone who arrived couldn’t help but say “wow” upon entering the space.

The day was kicked off with letters exchanged to each other, and getting ready with their respective parties. Alannah’s dress, from Ines De Santo, looked stunning on her with a mermaid silhouette and long train that draped so beautifully around her.

Underneath a massive and breathtaking two-story wooden installation, their vows were exchanged while standing under a beautiful and minimalist gold chuppah with lush greenery and soft pink pastel florals. With tons of natural light pouring into the room, Alanna glowed underneath her veil. Once in the reception, gold accents continued in the silverware, the chairs, and chandeliers that had more greenery hanging from them, and paired with soft greys throughout – the space had class and elegance. Rows and rows of candles lined along the dining tables created a soft glow that made the space look elegant, and warm and inviting. Not to mention their four-tier cake, made by Truffle Cake and Pastry, which had gold and soft pink accents with pastel-colored roses that matched so beautifully. The horah was a highlight of the day for everyone, which afterwards turned into a dance party that had everyone on their feet. Alannah, Zach and their friends danced in the middle of a crowd, while everyone cheered, danced and photographed the party. There’s truly nothing like a good dance party to get things going, and Alannah and Zach’s friends knew how to have fun.

As their day went on – the sky darkened, speeches were made, and the dancing continued. Alannah and Zach’s wedding had understated elegance and class – yet never forgot the importance of fun, family and good friends.

To many more years of love and dancing for you two.

We love them ALL. Truly so happy and can’t thank you enough. Thanks again for capturing our day – the photos live up to how perfect the day felt.
