Emily wore a beautiful custom strapless gown from Narces, and when Tony first saw her, Emily had to wipe the tears off of his face. Emily’s favourite detail was her bouquet, that was wrapped in her Mother’s veil from her wedding. “Having a piece of her wedding day on mine was very special to me” she said. What shone even brighter was the calm glow off of Emily’s face. She said she had no nerves whatsoever, and just loved the little moments that she had to herself to take everything in.
The couple’s ceremony was held at Malaparte, and featured beautiful white rose planters at the end of the aisle. The cutest part was seeing the ring bearer and flower girl walk down the aisle in their white dress and tux. They were definitely little showstoppers that had everyone smiling. The most anticipated part of the day for Emily was not just the first look, but being walked down the aisle to her future husband too. It was a very emotional moment for her, and everyone was brimming with excitement to see how beautiful she looked next to her father. At the reception, cocktails were served outside on the patio, and guests were then invited into the dining room, which was beautifully decorated with white and gold accents. Each table had a gorgeous centerpiece made of roses just like Emily’s bouquet.
The most carefully decorated hors d’oeuvres were set out, with delectable desserts and a cake that so nicely matched the modern aesthetic of every other detail. The day turned to night, meals were served, and the couple sat down to hear some hilarious stories and speeches from friends and family – which turned out to be their favourite part of the day. Tears of joy poured out like rain from people among the crowd, and laughs could not be contained. When the sky had gone dark, they were sent off with a sea of sparklers surrounding them while they shared a kiss. It was truly magical to see their day unfold as it did, and what a memory it will be for everyone who witnessed it.
