The day began with Cassandra getting ready at their cozy home in Ancaster. surrounded by her bridal party. Dressed in adorable matching blue pajamas, they joyfully popped champagne, toasting to the celebration ahead of them. Cassandra’s mom played an essential role, helping her slip into a stunning slim-fit dress adorned with exquisite pearl-detailed sleeves. As she descended the staircase, surprising her bridal party, we loved their expressions which quickly turned into a heartfelt embrace. The love was felt from every corner of their home.
Meanwhile, Shaun prepared for the day at the beautiful Pearle Hotel, enjoying the company of his groomsmen, sharing laughs and raising a glass to the moments to come. Both Cassandra and Shaun were enveloped in an atmosphere of love and support from their closest friends and family — and as an added bonus, everyone was so welcoming and fun to be around.
Finally, the long-awaited first look between Cassandra and Sean took place just outside the hotel, blessed with clear blue skies and abundant sunshine. As they laid eyes on each other, a mix of nerves and excitement filled the air. We guided them down to the waterfront — we love the candid in-between moments with our couples moving from one location to another, this is when you get the laughs and intimate moments, pretending that the camera isn’t there. The resulting images show just how in the moment they were — making our job incredibly easy!
The ceremony itself was a breathtaking, adorned with roses, baby’s breath, and moth orchids, inspired by a fresh meadow. It created a natural and ethereal atmosphere. The reception that followed exuded elegance, with white and natural-themed centerpieces adorning each table. The cake, with its unique and almost deconstructed appearance, stood as a centrepiece on its own. Fresh seafood was served during cocktail hour for their guests, creating an unforgettable culinary experience.
The night progressed with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and a beautiful tribute to Cassandra’s late father, her cousin prepared the song”You Should Be Here,” evoking cherished memories and reminding everyone of the power of love and togetherness. We are grateful to have been a part of their journey, and we wish them a lifetime of happiness and beautiful memories to look back on.
