As a tribute to Canada Day, a team of talented Ontario wedding specialists joined together to bring their impressive wedding ideas to life. In celebration of Canada’s special day, we are very excited to share to everyone this exquisite wedding photoshoot which was themed in a stunning red and white motif, to pay homage to the wonderful and remarkable Maple country.
In cooperation with Truly Yours Planning and Caprice Design & Décor, the wedding shoot was a total blast. The whole venue was a sight to behold with all those setups in red and white looking like a scene from a romantic movie. Who ever said that red is only for Valentine’s Day will be utterly speechless in this seriously stunning photoshoot.
Everything looked perfect but we specially adore the flawless contrast of the sleek, backless white gown of the pretty model with her bouquet of striking red flowers. Paired with the superb crystal set from The Loved One, the eye-catching neckpiece and bracelet impeccably complemented the elegant gown by Toronto’s Papilio Boutique. The whole ensemble was an absolute head-turner made more fantastic with the model’s erudite yet sexy and contemporary bridal look which was styled by Fancy Face Inc. The model later on changed to an attractive red and white gown with a Canadian flag in hand, while posing, waving the flag and letting the wind sweep her long hair.
The cute invites, cards and stationery were ingeniously made by Anista Designs. They provided a minimalist but highly effective design for the Canada Day-inspired wedding photoshoot and we love the simple but artistic details printed on the envelopes and invites.
The awe-inspiring venue, the Fort George National Historic Site which was sourced by Eventful Niagara, was a picturesque backdrop for the epic photoshoot. The site was exceptionally classic and perfect for intimate events like the union of two people. The wedding professionals magically altered the place and turned it into an epic wedding venue. Simply Beautiful Décor, alongside Anne & Co., creatively styled the dining tables and the countertops which looked absolutely charming.
Inspired by a later summer or fall style, the al fresco tabletops were filled with a variety of red blooms and lush greenery. Caprice Design & Décor did an amazing job in beautifying and transforming a series of fine-looking low centerpieces for the tables. The flowers were loosely arranged in a natural-looking style and placed in golden vases for a more fashionable touch. The golden flatware and plate ware completely added elegance and posh to the tables which gave an overall look of sophistication and class.
Canada Day celebration will never be merry without a sumptuous feast. For the catering, Edge Hospitality tastefully created on-theme hors d’oeuvres, including mouthwatering poutine with matching unique miniature bottles of Canadian-made Crystal Head Vodka. Foodies will definitely fall in love with the banquet and even with the food arrangement which are undeniably inventive and uniquely resourceful. The dessert table was jam-packed with Canadian-inspired goodies, and a trio of different leveled delectable naked cakes by Sweet Celebrations.
