Fall Engagement Shoot at Don Valley Brickworks

LOVE FALL! I also love calling it Autumn. Fall sounds dull and depressing. Autumn is vivid and beautiful! Definitely our favorite season, yet the shortest one. You only get about two weeks before the colours are gone and the trees are naked. It’s also the busiest season for any photographer. Since you only get a few weeks to work with what our mother nature gives us, the weekends are usually packed, and if we are not shooting a wedding on a given day, that means we have 2 to 3 engagement/family/creative shoots to do within 9 hours.

Joanna and Izzy asked us to stop by their place to take some photos with their gorgeous cat before we head over to Evergreen brickworks. We’ve been shooting at brickworks for the last 7 or 8 years and even though we still love it it’s getting impossible to work there. Another Toronto gem converted into a mainstream hang out spot and a farmer’s market.

Those backdrops are still worth it though and we take our clients there in a heart beat!
