The day began in an elegant suite at The Boulevard Club, where Juliana got ready for her big day surrounded by her bridesmaids and adorable flower girls. One of the sweetest moments was the reveal of Juliana in her wedding dress to her bridesmaids and flower girls. Their faces lit up with awe and admiration, perfectly captured in the photos, especially the ones where they all lounged on the floor, radiating pure joy and excitement. The floral girls were so fun to be around! Peter was getting ready at a family home with his groomsmen and the couple’s sweet dog! The presence of Peter’s dog added a heartwarming touch to the morning preparations. It was hard to keep him out of photos, we loved having him around!
Juliana and Peter chose to have their first look by the serene lakeshore, and it was nothing short of magical. With the boats gently swaying in the background and the calm waters providing a picturesque setting, Peter’s reaction to seeing Juliana was priceless. He covered his face in shock, overwhelmed by her beauty (us too!) Their playful, silly, and loving energy made for the most fun, candid shots. The lakeshore was the perfect backdrop for these unforgettable moments.
The ceremony at Christ the Good Shepherd Ukrainian Catholic Church was a moving and heartfelt affair. Peter couldn’t hold back his tears as Juliana walked down the aisle. His emotional reaction was a testament to the deep love they share. The traditional Ukrainian elements added a layer of cultural richness, making the ceremony both beautiful and significant.
Post-ceremony, we headed back to The Boulevard Club for bridal party portraits. One of the highlights was when the flower girls ran to Juliana and Peter and the remaining bridal party. Their joy was infectious and their innocence added a magical touch to the photos. We continued with more portraits of the couple by the lakeshore, where the gentle breeze and setting sun created epic veil shots.
The reception décor, masterfully arranged by Kimi Arya with Cool Green & Shady as the florist, was a vision of greens, whites, and creams. The room was elegantly transformed, with a special touch—a cute cake with their dog peeking out from the bottom tier. It was a charming way to include their furry friend in the celebration.
The evening was filled with laughter, emotions, and memorable moments. Juliana and Peter’s playful nature shone through during the cake cutting, with Peter mischievously smearing cake on Juliana’s face, resulting in laughter and a sweet, messy kiss. We all couldn’t stop laughing!
