The day began with Gabriella and Steven getting ready in their family homes. Gabriella was a vision of beauty, her Monique Lhuillier dress exuding sophistication and timeless charm. Steven, dapper in his tailored tuxedo, eagerly awaited the first glimpse of his bride. As photographers, we relish these intimate moments, as they offer us the chance to capture the raw emotions and excitement that precede the ceremony.
The first look during their ceremony at Saint Clare of Assisi Church was nothing short of magical. Gabriella’s radiant smile as she walked down the aisle towards Steven, and the tearful joy in his eyes, melted our hearts. The grand church provided a perfect backdrop for their ceremony, filled with love, laughter, and happy tears, a testament to their genuine connection.
After the ceremony, we had the pleasure of heading to Vaughan City Hall for some bridal party photos. The art deco architecture and modern elements of the location perfectly complemented the couple’s wedding theme. The bridesmaids looked stunning in their attire, their white dresses’ contrasting beautifully with the groomsmen tuxes. Everyones laughter brought an extra sparkle to the day, making every shot an effortless joy to capture.
As we moved on to photographing just Gabriella and Steven, we were amazed at the ease with which they expressed their love for one another. The chemistry between them was undeniable, and every frame captured their tender moments and genuine affection. We were so fortunate to have high winds that day, as it created these dramatic and gorgeous veil shots — we can make it work under any weather conditions, even Tornado winds!
The reception at the Arlington Estate was a sight to behold. The talented team behind Petals and Pearls ensured that the modern art deco theme was consistently carried throughout the decor. The ballroom was transformed into an opulent wonderland, with stunning flowers adorning every table and exquisite lighting setting the mood for a night of celebration. The floral arrangements, skillfully crafted by Caprice Decor, brought an enchanting touch to the event. The design was inspired by the couple’s love for clean, neutral tones and moody ambiance, One of the highlights of the reception was the cake by Limo Cakes, an abstract chocolate raspberry wedding cake that was inspired by marble statues and architecture loved by the couple.
The night unfolded with laughter, toasts, and unforgettable moments on the dance floor. It was clear that every guest was deeply touched by Gabriella and Steven’s love story. Their first dance to “Stand By Me” was a moment of pure magic, With the wedding being held on a long weekend, it was only fitting that the evening ended with fireworks! Afterwards, guests made their way to the dance floor and partied to music by Sole Power.

Their modern art deco-inspired celebration was a symphony of love, beauty, and joy, and we are grateful to have been chosen to document their special day.
