Paletta Mansion Wedding Shoot
Paletta Mansion Creative Shoot
Inspired by traditional Portuguese designs, this team of vendors led by La Chic Soiree created an eye-catching scene reminding us of the diversity found in European beauty.
The blue and white ceramic tilework and gold trimmings prominent in Portuguese architecture were translated into the details of this creative shoot. The stationery by Palettera Custom Correspondence tastefully applied these patterns as borders, creating a clean elegant look. When we shot them, we knew it wouldn’t take much for the small gold items pop!
The dining and the dessert table setting was a feast on its own with the abundance of floral arrangements by Royal Orchid Florist. The blush pink flowers added the splash of vibrancy to the white and gold that took over the set. Take your time scrolling through these photos. There’s so much to see! Catch the hint of gold from the trimmings on the glassware to the flakes on the cakes.
When choosing a venue for this shoot, we wanted to venture out to a place that had not been photographed enough. Burlington’s Paletta Mansion right by Lake Ontario is a hidden gem we were excited to explore. With such a large outdoor property with a great view, it made sense for us to use the space for the whole set up. Inside the mansion, they have several rooms each with its own character. The library’s dark wooded setting created an intimate and dramatic setting for portraits, while this gorgeous bay window we found on the second floor transported us back to the 19th century. We absolutely loved the intricate high-low dress that our model bride rocked. It was the perfect modern trend to the timeless sophistication of the Paletta Mansion.
We had such a great time working with this team of vendors who showcased their talent of creativity with every little detail. We can’t wait to share more magical worlds we were able to capture!
