Midtown Green & White Celebration
Rustic Wedding at The Symes
Danielle + Andreas

With beautiful colour coordination, a rustic venue, and headshots of an English Bulldog – what more could you want from this picturesque west-end Toronto wedding. The day was kicked off with the two getting ready with their respective bridesmaids and groomsmen. With mustard yellows, soft pinks accents in the accessories, and a velvet forest green suit – their day started off with style and elegance.

Danielle’s Lee Petra Grebenau dress from Powder Bridal looked absolutely stunning on her, and only made the most anticipated part of the day more special when she had her first look with Andreas. Not to leave Andreas out – because his custom velvet green suit from Indochino looked truly dashing. They looked so beautiful together.

Their ceremony, held in The Symes – a loft warehouse space in the heart of The Junction, created a timeless and elegant setting. Exposed brick, high ceilings, and an aisle that was lined with flowers and candles naturally created an intimate and close atmosphere in the large space. Not to mention the floral arch with white roses and hydrangea that awaited them at the front – it was absolutely stunning. The reception that followed was held in the upstairs of The Symes, with beautiful solid wood dining tables, gold silverware and classic crystal glasses that looked timeless and elegant. The design for the evening was planned out to be “simple and chic” said Danielle and Andreas. “Not trendy. We didn’t want to regret anything later. Which I think we nailed! Centre-pieces on each table featured bundles of white flowers, and glass encased candles, that when paired with the classic silver and glassware – looked gorgeous. What could have quite possibly been the most stunning part of the room was the hanging greenery installation above the dance floor, with hanging glass lanterns mixed in with the leaves. It looked like something out of a fairytale, and when the two had their first dance under it that night – it was magic. With the dining tables lining the edges of the dance floor, the lit candles on the tables created a gorgeous glow outlining them which added that extra touch of soft-lit magic.

The night was danced away with family and friends, and the rest was history – captured through photographs to hold as keepsakes.

Danielle and Andreas, you are so beautiful together and we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.

Thank you so much again for shooting the day for us.
