Toronto Golf Club Wedding
Alex & Jordan

When it comes to timeless Toronto wedding venues, the Toronto Golf Club offers something truly special. With its historic charm, sweeping lawns, and classic architecture, it creates the perfect backdrop for a wedding that feels both elegant and deeply personal. Alex & Jordan’s day was exactly that – a joyful, heartfelt celebration that blended classic style with an energy that was completely their own.

Although the couple now live and work in New York, celebrating their wedding back in Canada made the day feel even more meaningful. Surrounded by family and lifelong friends, every moment of the day felt full of connection, laughter, and the kind of happiness that naturally unfolds when everyone you love is in one place.

Alex began her morning in a quaint bridal suite accented with soft shades of blue that immediately set the tone for the day. From the patterned blue curtains to a charming little chair tucked into the corner, the space felt intimate and cheerful – the perfect place to start such an important day.

Alex stayed comfortable in white monogrammed pajamas while her bridesmaids wore matching blue sets that mirrored the accents in the room. With bubbly flowing and laughter filling the suite, the morning felt relaxed, happy, and full of anticipation.

Her bridal look perfectly reflected the classic feel of the venue. Alex wore a fitted gown with delicate spaghetti straps and paired it with pearl earrings and a romantic low bun. The look was simple, elegant, and timeless – allowing her natural beauty and joyful personality to shine through.

Meanwhile, Jordan spent the morning getting ready with his groomsmen, keeping the vibe relaxed with a drink to calm the nerves before the day officially began. He chose a classic black tux with a bow tie, a timeless look that complemented Alex’s elegant bridal style perfectly.

The couple shared their first look in front of the main building of the Toronto Golf Club, one of our favourite portrait locations at the venue. When Jordan turned around and saw Alex, the look on his face said everything. He couldn’t stop staring at her, completely in awe and clearly overwhelmed with love. From there we moved into portraits around the clubhouse, where the light began to create subtle sun flares that added a dreamy glow to the images. Between Alex’s sleek gown and minimal veil paired with Jordan’s sharp tux, the two of them looked like they had stepped straight out of a magazine.

Their bridal party joined them on the same front steps for group portraits, where the different levels of the staircase created a dynamic backdrop for the photos. The energy from this group of friends was incredible – constant laughter, big smiles, and a clear sense of how loved this couple is.

The ceremony took place on the back lawn of the Toronto Golf Club beneath a bright summer sun. Rows of white wooden chairs lined the aisle while the altar was framed by two podiums topped with white and green florals, creating a clean and timeless ceremony design. As guests began arriving, we captured hugs, reunions, and excited conversations as friends and family settled in for the ceremony. These candid moments before everything begins always add so much depth to a wedding gallery.

The ceremony itself was filled with heartfelt vows, emotional glances, and moments of laughter that rippled through the crowd. There were tears, there were smiles, and there was a palpable sense of excitement as Alex and Jordan officially began this next chapter together. When the ceremony ended and the couple walked back down the aisle as newlyweds, their happiness was impossible to miss. Guests tossed confetti into the air as they passed through, creating some of the most joyful and candid images from the entire day.

Cocktail hour followed with signature drinks – a skinny margarita and a classic Aperol spritz – while live musicians played and guests mingled on the lawn catching up with one another.

The celebration then moved inside for the reception, where the dining room glowed beneath gold chandeliers. Tables were dressed in white linens with candlelight, bud vases filled with white and green florals, and white charger plates topped with custom wax-sealed menus. The entire space felt warm and inviting – almost like a cozy European restaurant reserved just for their closest friends and family.

Between dinner courses and speeches, we stole Alex and Jordan away for sunset portraits, one of our favourite parts of any wedding day. The soft golden light paired with a couple so comfortable in front of the camera created images that felt relaxed, natural, and full of life.

As the evening continued, the celebration moved outside to the wooden dance floor beneath strings of fairy lights and a sky full of stars. Alex and Jordan shared their first dance surrounded by family and friends, creating a moment that felt incredibly romantic and cinematic.

Alex & Jordan’s wedding day was the perfect blend of timeless style, heartfelt emotion, and joyful celebration – the kind of wedding that reminds us exactly why we love documenting love stories like theirs.
