We love warm weather….. Warm weather is not just nice, and warm, and Mexico……. It doesn’t make you run for shelter, it doesn’t make you run at all, and everything looks pretty!!! Can’t wait till summer.
We are finally done editing a destination wedding from Azul Beach Hotel in Mexico. At the very beginning of this year we got to travel down south to shoot a very nice destination wedding on the beaches of the Caribbean sea. It was so awesome there, we could actually feel the sea salt on our lips while editing the photos. As we was saying in the Best Destination Wedding Location post before, it was a pleasure to shoot a wedding at such a nice resort. Great scenery and beautiful lighting made it easy to do a good job. Would definitely recommend Azul to anyone who is planning a destination wedding, it’s one of the best places we have seen yet. Also huge thanks to the bride and groom (Inna and Aaron) for their beautiful smiles, confident poses and just being so nice to us while we made them work hard and run around the resort on their wedding day. Special thanks to the maid of honor Julia, who was helping us throughout the day, she did a great job with hair and makeup, styling the wedding dress, helping me with the lighting equipment, she did it all. Julia, you are the best!!!
We had a lot of fun ourselves at this wedding. Got to do some crazy stuff we’v never done before. Besides climbing very high walls and laying on the hot sandy beach, we were shooting off shore from the boats, as well as standing all the way up to my chest in the ocean. It was kinda scary, since we know what could happen, if that salty water got on my camera. Likely it didn’t happened, but have to say, it was totally worth the risk.
The wedding reception was on the actual beach, under the full moon glowing in the dark sky leaving beautiful marks on the ocean. All that went very nicely with lobster tails, rum, and the option of digging your toes deep in to the sand under the table. It was a very romantic and special night for everybody.
Here are some shoots from that beautiful place.
