Kurtz Orchard Tent Wedding

Jennifer & Matthew’s Kurtz Orchard Wedding

Who needs a dating app when you’ve got friends to set you up on blind dates? Jennifer and Matthew heard about each other from a mutual friend, and they finally met for a good old-fashioned bowling date. As cliche as it sounds, they vow it was love at first sight! Fast forward to when Matt finally asked Jen to marry him, he couldn’t help but burst into tears in the process and she couldn’t help but laugh. That’s what you call a perfect match!

The most anticipated part of the day for both of them was seeing each other for the first time in the ceremony. As cute as the nephews and nieces were walking down the aisle, Matt choking up in tears as Jen began walking down the aisle definitely stole our hearts.

We find outdoor ceremonies so special because you’re out in the open field being declared husband and wife, and you can probably shout it to the world if you wanted to. Since they sealed it with a kiss, Matt enjoyed the rest of the day, proudly talking to his family and friends throughout the evening knowing he was married to Jen.

We look forward to warm weather every year for many reasons, but Kurtz Orchards is one of them! This outdoor venue is definitely a magical place for us. Every time we find ourselves there, we feel like we have been transported to a happy place full of happy people! From the lawn games during cocktail hour to the fire pits after the sunset, the guests are always having a good time.

The tent was another world on its own. The wooden floors and high white ceilings made you forget you were outside. The crystal chandeliers were a nice touch to the white and gold trimmings found in their details. Jen and Matt succeeded in the rustic meets vintage glam vibe they were going for.

Jen and Matt were in pure joy the whole time so photographing their portraits was such a breeze. Together, they were up for anything we suggested including the sunset portraits! We made sure to sneak them out during the reception to catch this soft romantic glow. If at all possible, make the time in the schedule sunset portraits because it’s totally worth it!

Even though it was their big day, this down to earth couple made sure everyone was having a good time – including us! With a genuinely nice couple like Jen and Matt, how can we not?
