Weddings are always busy affairs. Everyone from suppliers to family members want to make sure that everything runs well according to plan. Final checks are made and coordinators assure that everything is in order. But even in the midst of all the hurry, couples should focus more on making wonderful moments together. This is why it is very important that couples involve their photographers in planning their wedding day schedule since rushing things can greatly affect the quality of the shots. Alex and Michelle gave themselves that benefit so the photographs of their wedding that we took were something we were happy about. We know they’re glad too.
We always advise our clients to give ample time for portraiture. Wedding days are special moments and taking time to relax and having breaks is just as important as the other major activities. Because Alex and Michelle worked with us to find out the best times for picture taking, we were able to spend more than 3 hours just with the bride and groom during their pre-wedding preps in the beautiful village of Kleinburg.
It also helped a lot that the couple chose to do their preparations in a single location. There is just something special and intimate about couples choosing to get ready for their big day in the same vicinity. They may be preparing in separate rooms but knowing that the love of their life is just next door raises the anticipation and excitement. Those first glances always bring about something magical and profound.
There was no need to rush since there was enough time for the couple to walk around and have some quality time together. We were able to choose awesome backdrops, have lots of fun, and even enjoy some ice cream. Relaxed schedules with your photographer always translate to beautiful high quality images that are creative and well thought of. It’s a valuable piece of advice you can keep for your own wedding.
After our fun times with the couple at Kleinberg, we headed to the Alexander Muir Memorial Park for some wonderful moments with the family. It was a lovely day for family portraits and the light was absolutely awesome as it cooperated to create some stunning images. Since we had a lot of time on our side, we were still able to take some more photos of the bride and groom with the bridal veil. There was so much passion between the two of them that you could almost see romance in their eyes.
Michelle and Alex had a perfect intimate Jewish wedding shared with family and their closest friends. We always love these kinds of weddings since we also get to enjoy shooting the beautiful traditions and pleasurable dancing that’s always present in a Jewish affair.
There was lots of laughter and fun during the ceremony and reception. The smile on Michelle and Alex’ faces and the way they interacted with each other and their guests showed that they were really having a great time. It’s a beautiful sight to see the bride and groom enjoying their own wedding. This is the kind of experience we wish for all our clients to have when their special day arrives.
