When new clients come in to our studio for the first time we always tell them that at Purple Tree we are all about teamwork and collaboration with our lovely brides and grooms.
Fall has always been a popular season for weddings, and for good reason. This year I witnessed a breathtaking display of colour and natural foliage as old made way for new. The crisp weather and changing leaves created a cozy atmosphere and dramatic natural backdrop.
It’s wintertime in Canada, but our thoughts drift toward summer, which explains why we’re thrilled to share this lovely shoot we worked on during the warm glow of summer. This shoot was published in Wedding Bells Magazine and inspired by our love of water.
It’s It’s that time of the year to edit and update our blog – a necessary task to help us remain topical and current. The festive holiday season is over so now our attention turns to the busy engagement and wedding season ahead. We’ll be back to our ‘normal’ crazy schedule as of mid-February.
We had a pleasure to spend the first day of September this year with Julia and Gene at their spectacular wedding. While we love funky and contemporary weddings, we’re blessed with an opportunity to shoot this traditional affair.
We’re thrilled to share this engagement shoot with everyone, not because we enjoyed working with this beautiful couple on an amazing day back in June, but because it launched a new wedding engagement package that we’re very proud of.
I was going to start this blog post with a «once upon a time» intro, as this shoot reminds me of the fairy tales from my childhood. We shot this creative wedding back in May, right during sakura blossom season which is absolutely beautiful!
